I have very recently changed to Proton 385 Sound ( medium sponge tensor) on my Stiga Hybrid wood blade (Offensive ++) and the speed, sound and control is outstanding. The speed is noticeably faster than Roxon 500 which I previously using on the same blade but it offers better control and slightly more spin in my opinion.
For those interested I posted a review of the above rubber a couple of weeks ago on another well know TT forum. I am not sure if it is ok to post a link here but it should turn up if you do a search on this rubber name + mars63 as the author.
Gewo products are virtually unknown outside Germany and Europe but my friend has recently become the Australian agent and I have been lucky enough to try a number of their blades and other rubbers and the quality is very high. Cost can be a little high as with most other German products but the Proton rubbers certainly seem to be very durable and fast compared to many other tensors.
